Music Monday: Corrosion of Conformity – Blind

Once more, music always sets the tone for the week. Today’s music selection is brought to you after a fantastic trip to Vinal Edge Records this weekend. I first bought this when it came out on CD in ‘91 – my freshman year in college. So glad to finally have it on vinyl. I could say so much about this record…how the addition of Pepper Keenan, with this record, set the tone for their change in sound from their early days of hardcore punk, how their political voice became so well defined on this album and so on and so on…but at its heart, this record is one of youthful vigilance and straight up sludge. To this day, it’s still my favorite CoC record. Let’s make this week happen.
